It Won't End The Way It Started

You ever show up to something smiling on the outside while something is quietly running out on the inside?

That is exactly the picture Pastor Ondrea Griffin painted from John 2, the wedding at Cana where the wine ran out mid-celebration and nobody noticed except the one person walking closest to Jesus. The sermon made the case that Jesus was not called into the room because of the crisis. He was already there, invited because of relationship, and the shortage never once caught him off guard.

Stop defining God by what he does and start knowing him for who he is, because when you build your faith on his character instead of his activity, a waiting season stops feeling like abandonment and starts feeling like preparation.
